ABOUT ALTIUS

Altius Derbyshire Teaching School is an alliance dedicated to improving the attainment of every child by driving significant improvement in the quality of professional practice. We offer training and support through Initial Teacher Training, Continuing Professional Development and School to School Support.

The Alliance is involved in the following areas:

Altius Derbyshire Teaching School Alliance is grounded in a genuine belief in the mutual benefits which are delivered by working collaboratively with schools in our community. By working together and providing support for each other across all phases of education, we can build upon our strengths and learn from others to improve the outcomes for all of our pupils. We believe that all pupils in all schools within the Alliance will benefit from a commitment to work together in order to share strengths, build capacity and support developments which will ensure the highest possible standards for our teachers and pupils.
